I could not believe my eyes last night when I was down at the Lake by the Public Beach and Boat Launch. It was complete mayhem by the Lake, On the Lake, probably even at the bottom of the Lake. Watercrafts and sea vessels completely breaking " Boat Rules on the lake" violations starting from wrong directions, speeding inside "No Wake Zones", No vessel lights, "Rules of the Road" violations, on and on. I am surprised that the only incident I witnessed was a young girl who got a decent gash, scrape by an unknown boat. Someone came up to our NA meeting and asked if we had a first aid kit so one of the NA ladies, who is an RN, and I went down to see what happened. No one knew what to do but someone did call 911.We brought towels (one of my mom's best bathroom towels) put direct pressure on the wound and made a pillow for her head. I had every one stand back as much as possible until help arrived. The girl's name was Courtney and things seemed okay when I left. I was just appalled to see the crazy action on the water so late in the night with no usual Sheriff Boats on the water. And the loud distorted music on the beach was just nothing I have ever seen on Lake E. and I am a Lake going Local!
