1 Person Confirmed Dead In Wildomar Fire

One person died early Monday morning in a Wildomar trailer fire, an official has confirmed.

The blaze reported at 12:48 a.m. was in the 24100 block of Wheatfield Circle at Barley Lane, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.

When firefighters first arrived on scene they found a small travel trailer "fully involve with fire," Hagemann reported. The trailer was parked behind a residence, but there are no reports of damage to that home.

An adult male was confirmed dead in the blaze, although details surrounding the death were not immediately clear. Hagemann said she was still gathering information.

At press time, the Riverside County coroner's office has not released any information about the fatality.

No firefighters were injured in the blaze that took approximately 20 minutes to contain, according to Hagemann.

Firefighters remained on scene to investigate the blaze, but a cause has not yet been officially determined.
