1 Person Injured When Vehicle Rolls On Ortega Highway

The victim, whose name was not released, was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital with moderate injuries.

Delays on the Ortega Highway Saturday evening were caused by a rollover crash that left one person injured, a fire official reported.

The solo-vehicle crash was called in at 6:41 p.m., approximately two miles west of Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore.

When Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived on scene, they were able to "quickly extricate" the vehicle's occupant, according to Jody Hagemann of the fire department.

The victim, whose name was not released, was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital with moderate injuries, Hagemann reported.

Seven firefighters, two engine companies, an ambulance, and one overhead personnel were called to the scene.
