11 Arrests Made During Probation Sweep

A probation sweep Monday by the Perris Police Department's Special Enforcement Team resulted in 11 arrests, a sheriff's sergeant is reporting.

The operation conducted in the Perris city limits included arrests of Perris residents and well as a Murrieta man. The suspects ranged in age from 16 to 51, according to a report from Sgt. Ken Zunker.

"The goal of this operation is to verify persons released from custody are complying with the terms of their release, and are not engaging in any additional criminal activity," Zunker wrote.

According to the sergeant's report, the following arrests were made:

• Julia Santellan--23-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Carlos Martin-23-yearold resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation and committing a felony while on bail.
• Bobby August--31-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of trespassing, violation of parole and violation of probation.
• Patrick Carpentino--47-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
• Ronald Largano--51-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Eduardo Delgado--20-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
• 16-year-old juvenile from Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
• Jashawn Barton--18-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of felony warrant for receiving stolen property.
• Jose Martinez-Yepez--25-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of probation violation. 
• Ignacio Barraza--21-year-old resident of Perris-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation. 
• Christopher Kerr--20-year-old resident of Murrieta-
  arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation.
