A fire that broke out at the Glen Ivy RV Park early Saturday morning destroyed two RVs and left three people without places to stay, a fire official is reporting.
The blaze was reported at 3:08 a.m. at the park located at 24601 Glen Ivy Road, in the unincorporated area of Temescal Valley.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they found an RV completely “involved” with fire, according to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesman Mark Annas.
The fire was contained at 4:02 a.m., but not before two RVs were destroyed, Annas reported. The loss was estimated at $70,000, according to Annas.
Three people were displaced by the blaze, he said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
In addition to Cal Fire, the Corona Fire Department was on the scene, according to Annas. The Glen Ivy community is county area but falls within the city of Corona’s sphere of influence.
