6 Injured In Wildomar Crash

It took approximately one hour before extrication of all crash victims from the wreckage was complete.

An early morning two-vehicle crash in Wildomar has left six people injured, a fire official is reporting.

The crash reported at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 33400 block of Almond Street left three people with "major" injuries and three others suffered "moderate" injuries, according to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.

The six were transported via ground ambulance to area hospitals, Hagemann reported. Their current condition is unknown.

Fourteen firefighters and three engines were called to the scene. It took approximately one hour before extrication of all crash victims from the wreckage was complete, according to Hagemann's report.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the sheriff's department.

The identity of the victims was not released.
