Two Skydivers Collide Above Lake Elsinore

Two skydivers collided mid-air above the Skydive Elsinore facility on Cereal Street Friday evening, and both are in critical condition.

The accident victims, reported to be men in their early 20s, have been transported to a local hospital. One patient is in critical condition with CPR in progress, the other patient is also in critical condition with major injuries, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Cheri Patterson.

When first responders arrived on scene, one of the men was in traumatic full arrest, Patterson reported.

Patterson said the collision call came in at 5:41 p.m.
