Alcohol And High Speed Lead To Crash In Lake Elsinore
Edwin Solares, 28, was arrested shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Easter after he crashed near the intersection of Corydon and Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore.
After crashing a 2006 orange Pontiac GTO, a Lake Elsinore man was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence.
Edwin Solares, 28, was arrested shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Easter after he crashed near the intersection of Corydon and Mission Trail in Lake Elsinore.
According to a Lake Elsinore Police Department report, Solares attempted to negotiate a high-speed left turn from Mission Trail onto Corydon and sideswiped a cement pole used to protect a fire hydrant. The GTO came to a rest on Corydon.

During a subsequent police investigation, it was determined that Solares’ driving was alcohol-impaired so he was taken into custody, the police report stated.
