UPDATED: Missing Dementia Patient Found In Wildomar

Lee Carson Clayton was found off Bundy Canyon Road by Wildomar police officers.

UPDATED AT 11:13 A.M. NOV. 2: A Moreno Valley man who suffers from dementia and who went missing Oct. 30 has been found in Wildomar.

At approximately 9:11 p.m. Friday, officers from the Wildomar Police Department found Lee Carson Clayton, 74, off Bundy Canyon Road. 

"Mr. Clayton showed signs of dehydration and was taken to a local area hospital for precautionary medical aid. Mr. Clayton was reunited with family members and is no longer considered a missing person," according to a report from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Clayton was reported missing Oct. 30 at 6:42 p.m. from the 15000 block of Perris Boulevard in the City of Moreno Valley.

He left his residence on foot and had not returned, according to a news release issued today by the sheriff's Moreno Valley station.

Clayton was last seen in his residence by family members. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a gray shirt, and blue jeans. He is 6’02”, 160 pounds, with salt and pepper gray hair, dark skin and brown eyes. 

It is not clear how Clayton traveled to Wildomar.
