Alleged Drunk Driver Causes Crash In Wildomar

Ashley Ferguson, 21, of Las Vegas, who was injured in the crash, is being charged with a DUI, police said.

A 21-year-old Nevada woman who caused a crash in Wildomar Friday night is being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Ashley Ferguson, 21, of Las Vegas, was westbound on Gruwell Street at approximately 10 p.m. Friday in her blue 2006 Honda when she ran a stop sign at the Grand Avenue intersection and collided with a white 1991 Nissan Maxima.

Both vehicles sustained major damage. Ferguson was transported to a local hospital for lacerations and possible internal injuries. The driver of the Nissan was not injured.

Ferguson is being charged with 23152 CVC, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, according to a Wildomar Police Department report.
