Alleged Drug Activity Near Lake Elsinore’s Four Corners Nets 5 Arrests

Acting on information about alleged drug activity near Lake Elsinore’s Four Corners, police made five arrests over the Labor Day weekend, according to a law enforcement official.

The arrests came Saturday morning after deputies from the Lake Elsinore Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team conducted “targeted narcotics enforcement” in the Four Corners lake bottom area of Lake Elsinore, according to a news release from Sgt. Ray Nava.

“Acting on information that drug activity was occurring in the brush area near the lake, officers deployed the Police Department’s new Polaris Ranger off-road vehicle to patrol this secluded area,” Nava’s release read. “On three separate occasions officers located a vehicle concealed in the brush. On each occasion, officers contacted the occupants and found them to be in possession of methamphetamine.”

Five Lake Elsinore residents were arrested during the operation: Jiles Kamal, 29; Jennifer Pyle, 33; Thomas Brazeail, 36; Jorge Quezada Martinez, 26; and Melissa Chapdelaine, 37.
