Basketball Coach's Alleged Sex With Minors Has Investigators Seeking Public's Help
Dominic Leon Evans, 49, of Perris could face life in prison if convicted.
Riverside County sheriff's officials are asking any witnesses or other potential victims of a Perris High School volunteer basketball coach charged with two dozen sex-related felonies to come forward.
Perris resident Dominic Leon Evans, who is 49 years old according to jail records, could face life in prison if convicted of multiple counts of lewd acts on a minor, sexual penetration with a foreign object, sodomy on a child under 16 years old and possession of child pornography.
Evans is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail at the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley.

According to the sheriff's department, Evans was arrested after investigators executed a search warrant at his house at 820 Perris Blvd. on Nov. 13.
The basis for the warrant was not disclosed.

Sheriff's officials said Evans volunteered as an assistant boys' and girls' basketball coach at Perris High School.
It wasn't immediately known if the alleged victims were students.
Evans is slated to appear for a felony settlement conference Thursday at the Riverside Hall of Justice.
