Burglary Suspects Located With Help of Sheriff's Helicopter

Edward Rolando Barba, 19, of Lake Elsinore, along with two other suspects, ages 15 and 16 were apprehended following an alleged break-in Friday afternoon on Danielle Way, a police sergeant said.

Police set up a perimeter and brought out canines and the sheriff’s helicopter Friday in Lake Elsinore to find suspects allegedly seen breaking into a home.

The police activity started at about 4:30 p.m. when a resident in the 15000 block of Larson Road reported they had just witnessed three people break into a home in the 15000 block of Danielle Way, according to Lake Elsinore police Sgt. David Cardoza.

The caller told police they watched the suspects leave the home through the backyard by jumping over the fence.

Two others, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody and booked at Southwest Juvenile Hall near Murrieta, also on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy, Cardoza said. Their identities were not released due to their age, he said.
