CITIZEN REPORTER: Pit Bull Mix Allegedly Attacks Owner In Wildomar

The animal was removed from the neighborhood by animal control.

A man was attacked by his pit bull/shepherd mix in front of his Wildomar home Friday morning.

The attack took place at approximately 6:30 a.m. on the corner of Hitching Post Lane and Stirrup Drive near a school bus stop.

The dog attacked the man for approximately one minute while he screamed for help… . Paramedics were called, but the man was taken by his family to the hospital before they arrived.

Editor's Note: According to an Animal Friends of the Valleys/Southwest Communities Animal Shelter representative, the facility has no record of a pit bull being picked up or removed from the reported area.
