UPDATE: Citywide Sweep By Wildomar Police Nets Multiple Arrests

A total of 56 parole searches, seven probation searches and five registered sex offender compliance checks were conducted, the report stated.

A citywide sweep by Wildomar police Wednesday that focused on the apprehension of parolees, probationers and sex offenders has netted six arrests.

During the 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. sweep across Wildomar that was dubbed “Operation Zero Tolerance,” six parolees were arrested, two weapons seized, and approximately six grams of methamphetamine and $800 in cash were found, according to a Wildomar Police Department report.

A total of 56 parole searches, seven probation searches and five registered sex offender compliance checks were conducted, the report stated.

According to report details, two people were arrested for felony burglary warrants; two were arrested for misdemeanor narcotics warrants; one registered sex offender was arrested and two were found to be out of compliance; and one person was arrested for being under the influence and violating his probation.

The large sweep was done in conjunction with Wildomar police, State Parole, California Highway Patrol and the Regional Gang Task Force.

All arrestees were transported and booked at the Southwest Detention Center on the various charges.
