Sears said that around 3 a.m. Friday, the two men got into an argument over who should pay what for services from a female escort they found on an Internet site. According to the detective, the argument escalated to a physical confrontation, and both men drew knives.

Officers were called to Alexander's apartment at 1680 Via Pacifica minutes later to investigate reports of a stabbing and found him unconscious and suffering from a single stab wound. He was pronounced dead at Corona Regional Medical Center an hour later. --City News Service
