Coroner Releases ID On Stabbing Victim

Robert Alexander, 26, was found unconscious and bleeding inside his residence in the 1600 block of Via Pacifica in Corona.

The identity of a 25-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in his Corona apartment early Friday has been identified.

Robert Alexander was found unconscious and bleeding inside his residence in the 1600 block of Via Pacifica, near Mayfair Drive, around 3:15 a.m. on Nov. 15, according to Corona police.

Officers were called to the location to investigate reports of a stabbing.

Sgt. Kim Velasco said the man suffered a single stab wound and was transported to nearby Corona Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Following the stabbing, Velasco said detectives were still piecing together clues regarding what may have happened at the apartment. No suspects have been identified by police.
