Crash Closes Corydon Street

A crash at the Lake Elsinore-Wildomar boundary forced the closure of Corydon Street for nearly an hour Monday afternoon.

The two-vehicle crash involving a red Dodge 1500 and a gray four-door sedan left two female victims with moderate injuries; both victims were transported to Inland Valley Medical Center, according to Captain John Crater, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. A male victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries, the captain said.

The crash was reported at approximately 12:47 p.m. Monday at Corydon and Palomar streets.

The cause of the smash-up is still being investigated. --Daniel Lane contributed to this report.
