UPDATE: Crash Shuts Down Traffic On Ortega Highway

A SigAlert was issued at approximately 7:30 a.m.

UPDATE: As crews worked Tuesday morning to clear a crash (see below) on the Ortega Highway at Mile Marker 14, another crash was reported further west just a few hours later.

At approximately 9:20 a.m., a vehicle reportedly slammed into a wall on the Ortega near Mile Marker 13.

At press time, crews were still working the crash scene, but the road is open.

The extent of injuries is unknown.

The crash was reported shortly after 7 a.m. at Mile Marker 14 in Orange County.
