Cut And Rescue In Lake Elsinore Saves Two

Two people had to cut out of a vehicle after it overturned Wednesday night at Diamond Drive and Pete Lehr Drive in Lake Elsinore.

According to a Riverside County Fire Department/Cal Fire news release, the single-vehicle accident occurred around 8 p.m.

Both victims were extricated and transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital with minor to moderate injuries, the release stated.

Twelve firefighters, two engines, one truck, one ambulance and one overhead personnel were at the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
