Date Night Turns Into Allegations Of Kidnapping, False Imprisonment

Wildomar deputies responded to the call for help around 12:36 a.m. Friday.

A man is behind bars after he allegedly falsely imprisoned his date then pushed her out of his vehicle.

Terry Michael Fine, 56, of Murrieta was arrested early Friday morning by deputies from the Wildomar Police Department on suspicion of false imprisonment, kidnapping and robbery, jail records show.

According to a report from Sgt. Patrick J. Chavez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Fine was on a date with a woman he had just met. The two were heading to the woman’s home sometime around midnight when Fine allegedly began accusing her of stealing his wallet.

“Fine refused to let the victim out his vehicle and held her wrist and grabbed her purse as she attempted to exit the vehicle,” the report stated.

Fine would not let the woman go, Chavez continued.

“Fine drove to the area of Central Avenue and Dunn Street where he pushed her out of his vehicle still in possession of her purse and fled the area,” the sergeant reported.

Wildomar deputies responded to the call for help around 12:36 a.m. Friday. They went to Fine’s residence in the 41700 block of Grandview Street and arrested him shortly before 3 a.m., according to jail records.

He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and is due in court June 18.
