Documented Gang Member Arrested In Lakeland Village

Raymond Osuna, 26, of Lake Elsinore (also known as Raymond Solis), was arrested in the 17300 block of Curtis Avenue in Lakeland Village.

A gang member, who police say was wanted for an assault that caused a victim to lose vision in one eye, was arrested Tuesday evening in Lakeland Village.

Raymond Osuna, 26, of Lake Elsinore (also known as Raymond Solis), was arrested by the Riverside County Gang Task Force, with assistance from Lake Elsinore sheriff’s personnel, in the 17300 block of Curtis Avenue in Lakeland Village.

There was a short standoff between Osuna and law enforcement personnel, but he ultimately surrendered.

According to a multi-agency sheriff’s report, Osuna was considered “a parolee-at-large” by the California Department of Corrections. He was wanted for a 2008 Lake Elsinore Police Department assault/mayhem investigation in which a victim lost vision in one eye, according to the report.

Osuna was taken into custody and booked at the Southwest Detention Center.
