Evening Smoke Caused By Attic Fire In Perris

An attic fire damaged a home in Perris Wednesday but no injuries were reported, a fire department spokeswoman said.

Firefighters were dispatched at 4:49 p.m. to the 300 block of West 10th Street. The blaze was contained about 20 minutes later to the attic and the outside of the home, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. --City News Service
