The blaze was reported at 9:26 a.m. in the 29800 block of Ketch Drive, according to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
“Upon arrival, the first on scene engine company reported heavy smoke from the eaves of a single family home,” Hagemann wrote in her report. “Firefighters quickly contained the fire to a room in the home.”
Following the containment, fire crews were committed to the scene for approximately 90 minutes, according to Hagemann.
