UPDATE: Fire Near Alberhill Ranch Contained At 3.5 Acres

UPDATE 7:42 p.m.: Firefighters made quick work of a blaze that burned 3.5 acres just north of Alberhill Ranch Saturday.

The fire has been contained but crews are remaining on scene to extinguish hotspots and check for embers, Cal Fire is reporting.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

There were no injuries and no structures were lost in the fire.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Cal Fire is reporting crews are on the scene of a brush fire just north of Alberhill Ranch.

According to the reports, the blaze has burned three to five acres near Indian Truck Trail and was burning on the west side of the 15 Freeway at a slow rate.

The fire was reported at 4:41 p.m. Saturday.

There are no reports of injuries or evacuations.
