Fire Burns Mobile Home Near Lake Elsinore

An early morning fire near Lake Elsinore has damaged a doublewide mobile home, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.

The blaze was reported at 1:14 a.m. today in the area of John Street and Mazie Avenue, Hendrickson said.

According to initials reports from firefighters on scene, the mobile home was “fully involved with fire” and there was concern of spread to nearby vegetation, Hendrickson said.

But the blaze was contained in by 1:34 a.m. and there were no report of injuries, according to Hendrickson.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
