Four Arrested On Suspicion Of Vehicle Theft And Possession Of Stolen Property

Roy Fisher Gerrard, 24, Jesse Linares Mandujano, 19, Carlos Chavez, 22, and Sharon Aiello, 45 – all from Lake Elsinore -- were arrested for vehicle theft and possessing stolen property.

Four people were arrested in the unincorporated area outside of Lake Elsinore Tuesday on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

Roy Fisher Gerrard, 24, Jesse Linares Mandujano, 19, Carlos Chavez, 22, and Sharon Aiello, 45 – all from Lake Elsinore -- were arrested for vehicle theft and possessing stolen property. Mandujano, Aiello and Chavez were also arrested for unrelated warrants.

According to a Lake Elsinore Police Department report, at about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday officers responded to a vehicle theft call in the 32000 block of Michele in Lake Elsinore. The victim reported a stolen 2001 Nissan Frontier.

At about 7:40 a.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station and a Riverside County Sheriff K9 team member located the vehicle parked at a residence in the 33000 block of Barnstable in unincorporated area just outside Lake Elsinore.

At the residence, deputies detained five people. A subsequent search linked four of them to the vehicle theft and two additional thefts that occurred in the Lake Elsinore area, according to the police report.

Over $20,000 dollars in stolen property was recovered and most of it was returned to the victims, the report stated.

The fifth person who was detained was determined to have no involvement and was released, according to the report.
