Investigators Looking Into Cause Of Lake Elsinore Fire

Sixteen firefighters were called out to the blaze that is under investigation.

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a blaze that destroyed a mobile home Saturday evening in Lake Elsinore.

The fire reported at 5:41 p.m. destroyed a side-wide mobile home in the 21800 block of Herbert Street.

When Cal Fire/Riverside County firefighters responded to the scene, they reported the mobile home was well-involved with fire, said Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.

“The fire was knocked down at approximately 6:03 p.m. The loss was estimated at $20,000. No injuries reported,” Hendrickson said.
