The robbery took place at the bank located at 31575 Canyon Estates Drive shortly after noon.

The robber presented a demand note to a cashier, got an undisclosed amount of money and then fled on foot, according to a news release from the Lake Elsinore Police Department. He was last seen running northbound across Canyon Estates Drive into a residential housing tract, but police were unable to find him.

The robber is described as a clean-shaven Hispanic male in his 20s, with a slim build. (See attached surveillance photos.) He was wearing sunglasses, a gray long-sleeve button-up shirt and black dress slacks.

None of the bank employees were injured during the robbery.
