Arrested during the operation for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs was Menifee resident Isidoro Luna, 61.

A Lake Elsinore St. Patrick’s Day crackdown on drunken and drugged driving netted one arrest and four citations, it was reported today.

Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Team conducted saturation patrols during the Saint Patrick's Day holiday across the city to clamp down on drunk driving, improve traffic safety, save lives and prevent injuries, according to a Lake Elsinore Police Department news release.

Arrested during the operation for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs was Menifee resident Isidoro Luna, 61, according to the news release.

Additionally, six drivers were given field sobriety tests; four drivers were cited for driving without a license or while their licenses were suspended, the release stated. The drivers' vehicles were towed.

Funding for the patrol was partially provided by the city's Traffic Offender Program, according to the news release.

Cops can do no wrong in Rail Road County and tax dollars are no object. A county where the Steppford Citizens vote to lock everyone up, politicians promise to lock everyone up even if justice is circumvented, you end up flat broke with a unmanegegable deficet and politicians looking for more tax increases to support bloated pensions for powerful unions. This is truly Rail Road County without accountibility.

I'm all about getting drunks arrested and off the road, but what I don't see as any justice is the publication of the person being arrested. How about we publish his conviction and the fines and time he had to do. There is a slim chance this person is innocent.

@Jennifer Justice 10:36 am on Monday, March 19, 2012 "Unless that one drunk dude that was arrested plowed into you ..." That statement is from the point of view that ALL drunk dudes crash into someone else at all times. This is a faulty generalization argument.
