Lake Elsinore Man Allegedly High On Heroin And Meth Arrested In Upscale Murrieta Community

A probationer from Lake Elsinore said to be high on heroin and methamphetamine was arrested for an alleged residential burglary early Friday in Greer Ranch, a gated community of Murrieta.

A Lake Elsinore man suspected in an early morning burglary in Murrieta was quickly caught, police said Friday.

Davis Flournoy, 20, was taken into custody at about 6:50 a.m. Friday on Horsetail Street in Greer Ranch, not far from where the alleged burglary took place, Murrieta police Sgt. Dave Baca said in a news release.

Officers responded to the 35800 block of Abelia Street at about 6:30 a.m. Friday after a teenaged girl reportedly discovered a man inside the garage of her family residence, rummaging through a parked car, Baca said.

The suspect, a white male, allegedly took things from the car before running off, Baca said.

Murrieta police arrived and set up a large containment area in order to find the suspect, Baca said.

"Officers searched the area and located stolen items strewn about several front lawns," Baca said.

The suspect, later identifed as Flournoy, was located at about 6:50 a.m. when a resident told officers he saw a suspicious man walking on Abelia toward Horsetail.

Flournoy matched the description given by the victim, who also positively identified him for police, Baca said.

Flournoy was allegedly under the influence of heroin and methamphetamine, Baca said.

"A records check showed Flournoy had an outstanding no bail probation violation warrant."

Flournoy was arrested without incident and booked at Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of first degree residential burglary, being under the influence of controlled substances, probation violation and receiving stolen property, according to Baca.

Flournoy reportedly drove a green 2000 Nissan Xterra to visit a friend in Greer Ranch at around midnight, just hours before the burglary, Baca said.

"Officers were unable to locate the Xterra. It is possible Flournoy was accompanied by another male."

Anyone with information in the case was asked to notify the Murrieta Police Department at 951-696-3615.

Davis Flournoy is th kid arrested in this story. He used to break into my house when I was deployed. His mom is a teacher that would always coddle him. If he goes to prison, he will get what he deserves. The kid is a loser.

This kid used to get arrested for beating up his mom too. I am glad that I moved away from Lake Elsinore.
