Lake Elsinore Man Arrested In Stabbing Incident

Michael Breckon, 39, was arrested regarding an alleged stabbing incident in the 18300 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in unincorporated area, near Temescal Canyon High School.

A Lake Elsinore man is behind bars for assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.

Michael Breckon, 39, was arrested regarding an alleged stabbing incident in the 18300 block of Eucalyptus Avenue in unincorporated area, near Temescal Canyon High School.

But Breckon’s arrest in the case was not immediate.

“At the time of the [stabbing] incident,” which was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, “the suspect was not known and information provided at the scene was vague,” according to a report from Sgt. David Sanches of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.

But Monday, deputies received information pertaining to the incident and, upon further investigation, arrested Breckon, the sergeant reported.

No information about the victim was released in the sergeant’s report.
