Lake Elsinore Motocross Park Vandalized

Unidentified suspects broke into the location, stole a tractor/machinery-type vehicle, damaged a fence and port-a-potty, and left graffiti.

Vandals struck the Lake Elsinore Motocross Park over the weekend, causing some damage, according to Cpl. Courtney Donowho of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The report of vandalism was received at 9 a.m. Sunday, Cpl. Donowho said.

Gio Nanci, Wildomar business owner and principal of Vision Quest Enterprises, signed a lease on the privately owned motocross property located on Cereal Street earlier this year. He could not be reached for comment on this story.

The track closed in mid 2010 after city officials determined that park operator Randy Hiner was out of compliance with permit conditions.
