A commotion that broke out at a Lake Elsinore Starbucks late Thursday morning was the result of a medical call that turned combative, a deputy is confirming.

At approximately 11:52 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Starbucks on Collier Avenue to assist fire department personnel with a male subject who needed medical attention, said Deputy Albert Martinez of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
