Lake Elsinore Police Nab Illegal Drivers

The Lake Elsinore Police Department is putting out the word that it has a "zero-tolerance policy regarding driving on a suspended license."

On March 2, the Lake Elsinore Police Department Motorcycle Traffic Enforcement Team reportedly conducted “a targeted saturation patrol” in the city that saw many citations.

Seven people were found to be driving on a suspended license and 13 people were driving vehicles with expired registrations, according to a Lake Elsinore Police Department news release issued Monday.

“The Lake Elsinore Police Department would like to remind drivers in the city … that the department's traffic division aggressively pursues DUI/reckless drivers, and has a zero-tolerance policy regarding driving on a suspended license,” the news release stated.
