The incident unfolded shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday when a motorcycle officer driving past an apartment complex in the 100 block of W. Heald Street was flagged down by residents regarding a stabbing victim at the location, Cardoza reported.

Deputies were called in and found the victim bleeding from several puncture wounds. The victim, whose identity has not been released by authorities, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what Cardoza described as non-life-threatening injuries.
