"The preliminary investigation revealed a white Toyota Camry was traveling south on Perris Boulevard when it lost control and collided into the transformer. The driver of the Camry was not injured and alcohol is not believed to be a factor," Lodes reported.
"Personnel from Southern California Edison responded to the scene to repair the damaged transformer," the sergeant added. "Southbound traffic lanes were later re-opened on Perris Boulevard."
