Main Street Gas Held Up By Armed Robbers; Police On The Hunt

The suspects are described as black adult males, one being about 6' to 6'2" tall with a thin build. The other suspect is described as about 5'7" to 5'10" tall.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two armed robbers who allegedly held up a gas station in Lake Elsinore Monday night.

The armed robbery was reported at 9:09 p.m. at Main Street Gas located at 301 N. Main Street.

“Officers arrived within minutes (of receiving the call), however the suspects had already fled the scene,” according to a report from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station.

Per the report, two men entered the station’s store wearing black bandanas that covered their faces. One of the robbers pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk. The two suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a gray Dodge Intrepid that may have had damage to the passenger side front fender, according to the police report. No other information was provided on the vehicle.
