Maintenance Worker Admits to Sexual Battery of Elderly Disabled Patient

David Moreno of Riverside committed the acts over a two-month period during 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living in Yorba Linda, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

A Riverside man who sexually assaulted a 69-year-old disabled woman at an Orange County assisted living facility was sentenced today to three years in prison.

David Moreno, 29, pleaded guilty Dec. 6 to one count each of sexual battery on an institutionalized victim and sexual penetration with a foreign object.

Along with prison time, Moreno will have to register as a convicted sex offender for the rest of his life, limiting where he can work and live, according to prosecutors.
