Major Injuries Reported in Lakeland Village Crash

Two people were hospitalized in the weekend crash, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person was hospitalized with major injuries and one with moderate injuries following a collision in Lakeland Village this weekend, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

The crash was reported at 9:38 p.m. Sunday at Grand Avenue and Wood Street, and involved a motorcyclist and bicyclist, said department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.

"The incident resulted in one patient with major injuries and one patient with moderate injuries," Hagemann said. "Both were transported to area hospitals by ground ambulance."

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the collision, she said.
