Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault in Lake Elsinore

 A man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman at a parking lot in Lake Elsinore has been arrested, a sergeant said today.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched at 9:20 p.m. Friday to Graham Avenue and Langstaff Street.

The victim, a 59-year-old Lake Elsinore resident, told the deputies she had been attacked at a parking lot in the 100 block of South Spring Street, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Chad Loeffler said.

The alleged victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, Loeffler said.

On Saturday, deputies identified Juan Carlos Corral, 32, of Lake Elsinore, as a suspect and served a search warrant at his home. Corral was then arrested, Loeffler said.

Corral was booked for suspicion of sodomy by force. He remained in custody today in lieu of $55,000 bail, records showed.
