Man Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Crash with Sedan

A man was fatally injured Saturday when his motorcycle crashed into a sedan making a turn in Perris, sheriff's officials said.

The crash occurred about 5 p.m. Oct. 12 at Rider Road and Evans Road, Sgt. J.P. Strang of the sheriff's Perris station said in a statement.

Adrian De La Cruz, 22, of Perris, was found on the road with major injuries and still straddling his Yamaha motorcycle, Strang said.

Cal Fire and American Medical Response crews responded, Strang said. DE La Cruz was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley where he was pronounced deceased at 5:45 p.m.

The driver of the passenger car was not injured and remained at the scene where he was contacted by investigating officers, Strang said.
