A Hemet woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting items from a Kohl's Department Store in Menifee and assaulting loss prevention officers to get away, a Menifee police sergeant said today.

Cristian Natalie Valencia, 23, of Hemet is accused of shoplifting items from inside the Kohl's Department Store in the 3000 block of Haun Road at 5:12 p.m. Saturday and assaulting loss prevention officers as she got away in a white Hyundai Veloster before police could arrive, said Sgt. Ralph Rico of the Menifee Police Department.

Valencia's license plate was traced to a residence in the 27000 block of Rosemont Way in Hemet, but a Hemet sheriff's sergeant stopped Valencia in the 41000 block of Stonecliff Way, where she was detained, Rico said. The stolen property was recovered from the car.

Valencia was booked at the Southwest Jail for robbery, the sergeant said, although the Riverside County Sheriff's inmate records did not yet have details. --City News Service

good grief - she was busted in the store and she didn't have the smarts to dump the evidence... some people deserve jail time.... kohls' doesn't have anything worth the risk ....but no one ever steals bread or beans...

Unless she comes up with a lawyer she'll end up a convicted felon, can't vote, own a gun or collect welfare for herself for life. A 3 time loser, shoplifting isn't working, what's next, prostitution?

Dump the evidence and deny it so they can bring the witnesses into court and add perjury to the charges, when they show the in store surveillance footage of the confrontation,,,trapped by technology..

Dog, you don't like her 'come hither' look?
Alek J Hidell January 21, 2014 at 12:25 AM
nope, it was the fact that she assaulted the guards; that turns a simple misdemeanor into felony robbery. Had she just given up they would probably have given her a warning and took her photo.

A tempting often sexual invitation <that come–hither look in your eyes>??? She looks more like she's been crying.
