The public's assistance was sought in locating two people who went missing from Lake Elsinore.
Christine Stewart, 47, and Joseph Dorsey, 27, were last seen on Saturday, Aug. 4, sheriff's Sgt. Robert Novak said in a news release. The Perris Sheriff's Station received the report on Monday, he said.
"They are believed to be together and the circumstances surrounding their disappearance are unknown," Novak said.
They may be driving a 1994 Ford Explorer, with California License Plate No. 6UDY773, and were last believed to have been in the Lake Elsinore area, Novak said.
Stewart was described as a 5-foot-2 white female with reddish-blond hair.
Dorsey is a 6-foot-1 white male with brown hair.
Photos of Stewart and Dorsey had not been posted by the Sheriff's Department as of publication time.
Anyone with information of their possible whereabouts was encouraged to call Investigator Rosas at the Perris Station or call Sheriff Dispatch at 951-776-1099.
