Motorcyclist Killed On Freeway Was Corona Man

Matthew Warne, 31, died Saturday night, the coroner's office is reporting.

A motorcyclist who was struck and killed on the 91 Freeway over the weekend was a Corona man, the Riverside County Coroner’s Office reported today.

Matthew Warne, 31, was driving at a high rate of speed on the westbound side of the freeway near Adams Street on Saturday night when he struck a pickup truck, crashed, and was subsequently hit by a sedan, according to the coroner’s office.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m.; Warne died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported.
