Police say they arrived within minutes and found the downed motorcyclist who was transported to a nearby hospital via ambulance as the Menifee Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team was activated and assumed the investigation.

“The investigation revealed the rider was westbound on Scott Road and it appears the rider failed to stop for the stop sign at the intersection. The other driver involved was traveling south on Murrieta Road and had proceeded into the intersection after stopping for the stop sign. That driver intended to complete a left turn onto eastbound Scott Road. The motorcyclist struck the side of the car,” the report read.
