Motorcyclist Who Died In Crash Identified

Manuel Isidoro Alves, Jr. was the helmeted rider of a motorcycle who was traveling at an unsafe speed.

A motorcyclist who died in a crash Tuesday on southbound Interstate 215 has been indentified.

Manuel Isidoro Alves, Jr., 27, of Murrieta, was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at the scene, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's-Coroner's Office.

Alves was a helmeted rider who was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control and landed in the path of a tractor-trailer, the coroner's office confirmed Thursday morning.
