Nine Injured In Lake Elsinore Crash
All nine victims were transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance -- three were in critical condition and six had minor injuries, according to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.
Nine people were injured this afternoon in a three-car crash in Lake Elsinore, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reports.
The crash was reported at 522 East Franklin Street at 4:42 p.m.

Two of the victims were trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated, Hendrickson stated.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
