Ontario Police Seek Stabbing Suspects In Lake Elsinore

The suspects are wanted in connection with a Dec. 11 stabbing in Ontario that involved a 29-year-old male victim who survived the attack.

Ontario police were on the streets of Lake Elsinore today looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a Dec. 11 stabbing that occurred in Ontario.

At press time, one male suspect was in custody; the other is still being sought, said Ontario Police Sgt. Robert Freire. 

“The two suspects have been identified from the City of Lake Elsinore,” the sergeant said.

The suspect in custody was arrested at Main and Sulphur streets at approximately 3 p.m. His age and identity have not been released at press time.

According to the sergeant, the search for the second suspect is focused in the area of E. Graham Avenue.

Sgt. Freire said the Dec. 11 stabbing in his city involved a 29-year-old male victim who survived the attack. The victim was an Ontario resident and the stabbing is not believed to be gang-related, the sergeant said.
