Parolee Arrested In Wildomar For Alleged Grand Theft Auto

The suspect was arrested and charged with six counts of grand theft auto and a parole violation, according to police.

A Wildomar man has been arrested in connection with what police are alleging as “multiple vehicles thefts originating from the city of Menifee.”

According to police, Kelly Packard, 22, was arrested the morning of June 29 at 22375 Baxter Road in Wildomar after a parole check was conducted by the Menifee Police Department's Special Enforcement Team at the residence. The team was following up on a tip regarding the vehicle thefts, according to police.

Packard was on state parole for weapons charges.

“A search of Packard's residence revealed five motorcycles stolen from several victims within the city of Menifee over the previous two weeks. Through subsequent investigation deputies also charged Packard with the theft of a Ford F350 pick-up also stolen out of Menifee,” police reported. “Kelly Packard was arrested and charged with six counts of grand theft auto and a parole violation.”
